CONSOL Energy Center Public Tours to Begin February 21

The highly anticipated CONSOL Energy Center Tour program will make its debut to the general public on Monday, February 21, 2011, it was announced today by CONSOL Energy Center and the Pittsburgh Penguins.   Tickets for all February and March tours are on sale today at 10:00 a.m.

The ‘Go Behind the Green Tour’ is presented by Bayer MaterialScience. Tours will provide guests with an exclusive look at all seating levels of the Arena, the First Niagara, Captain Morgan and Lexus Clubs, a Canadian Club Party Suite, select locker rooms and more!  The Tour will also highlight the environmentally friendly components of the building that qualified CONSOL Energy Center to become the first NHL Arena to receive LEED Gold Certification. Tour routes and areas visited may vary based on the date, time and events scheduled in the building.  The Pittsburgh Penguins Locker Room will not be included in any tours.  Bayer MaterialScience is pleased to support the Penguins, CONSOL Energy Center and those throughout the Pittsburgh area in education of sustainable building, energy savings and resource conservation.

Tours will be available on select dates Monday through Saturday at 2:00 p.m.  Tour tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children aged 2-12 and seniors over 55.  Tours will be limited to 30 guests.  Private tours for groups of 20 or more will be $4 per person and subject to availability.
