How long have you been following the Pens and how did you become a fan? I've been following the Pens all 20 years of my life. I was born and raised by two Pittsburgh parents who have always supported the Pens. My parents used to always take my sisters and I to games even when I was pretty young and I have many great memories in all of the places that the Pens have called home. I've stood behind the Pens through the good years and the bad years and will continue to do so for the rest of my life. The current years and future years look very promising for this great team!
Who is your favorite Penguins player (past or present)? Sidney Crosby
Tell us about your favorite Penguins memory. My favorite Pens memory was watching them win the 2009 Stanley Cup! However, I was lucky enough to attend the Winter Classic last year and that was an unforgettable event! Especially when my sister dropped her phone into a puddle under her seat whenever Geno scored the games first goal! We were all so ecstatic that we jumped up in joy to celebrate and she dropped her phone. We all agreed that it was totally worth a ruined phone!
On a game day I usually... Wear some sort of Penguins attire and watch the game with my family or with friends if I'm down at school. I always sit in the same seat during a hot streak and change it up when the Pens are struggling. I also dress up my dog, Carmella, in her Malkin or Fleury T-shirt, especially during the playoffs. The shirts don't get washed during a win streak either. They get washed only to get the loss out of them.
