How long have you been following the Pens and how did you become a fan?
Ever since I was a little boy, I have loved the Pens. I was very sick and in the hospital for long periods of time and going through my hockey card collection and watching hockey was all I could really do since I was bed ridden. I loved watching and getting to know all the players and once I was better my mom started taking me to games, now that's the best experience EVER.

Who is your favorite Penguins player (past or present)?

Tell us about your favorite Penguins memory.
My mom and I went to a game (we always get seats behind Fleury) and during warm ups, Geno slapped a puck up to the net, and it slid down and landed right at my feet! I didn't  get it because someone that shouldn't have been there (they didn't have seats and were just there to get pictures before the game) took the puck and ran. But it was ok, I've gotten memorabilia and lots of autographs from the other players and that makes up for the puck I lost.

On game day I usually...
My mom and I drive 3 hours to go to games, we make signs and love sitting behind Fleury! After the game we try to see if we can meet some of the players and get autographs. Sometimes it works out, sometimes not, but I love going to games and I love my Pens. They make my second chance at life so much better!

Congratulations, Thane!
