Young Netminders Set To Go Camping

by Glenn Odebralski / Florida Panthers

There's an old saying that practice makes perfect and when you're a hockey player you want to practice and get that ice time as much as possible.

With that in mind, the Panthers Summer Hockey Schools comes to a close with their ULTIMATE Goalie School as the netminders suit up between the pipes to take shots and hone their games at Saveology.com Iceplex from July 23-27.

Looking to possibly play for their hometown Panthers one day, the netminders will get professional tutelage already as if they were Florida netminders as Panthers Goaltending Coach and former NHL netminder Robb Tallas will direct the school for goalies ranging from 8-17 years old.

The Florida Panthers Goalie School, which runs from 9am-4pm daily, focuses on improving the unique physical skills and mental toughness that the position of goaltender demands.  The Ultimate Goalie School is tailored towards goalies with skill levels ranging from beginner to intermediate.

Slots are limited so make sure to call 954-341-9956 to reserve a spot. Cost of the camp is $495 plus tax.
