SSE To Debut Pin Trading Program On Dec. 21

by Staff Writer / Florida Panthers
SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that it will debut it’s brand new pin trading program during the Florida Panthers-Colorado Avalanche game on Sunday, Dec. 21 at the BankAtlantic Center.

“When Panthers fans return to the BankAtlantic Center on Dec. 21, they will be greeted with a wonderful new initiative,” said SSE president & chief operating officer Michael Yormark. “The new pin trading program will raise the overall fan experience and continue to make the BankAtlantic Center the most family-friendly venue in South Florida.”

The new Florida Panthers pin trading program will begin on Dec. 21 as many BankAtlantic Center staff members, including all ushers and ticket takers, will be provided with exclusive Florida Panthers pins (not available in stores) that fans can trade for. Fans are encouraged to bring their own NHL or hockey-related pins to the game or to purchase new Panthers pins for $6.95 or $12.95 at the BankAtlantic Center pin stand in Section 125. The pin trading program begins on Dec. 21 and continues for the remainder of the season.

“Several years ago, when my sons and I began attending Panthers games, we purchased two or three pins for fun, as well as to display our loyalty to the team,” said Panthers season ticket holder Dr. Jeffrey Hirsch of Palm Beach Gardens. “Years later, our now highly-decorated jerseys are a source of pride that has added immensely to the fun that we have at Panthers games. As we have occasionally traded pins with others, I think the new pin trading program at the BankAtlantic Center only adds another positive dimension to the hockey experience.”

Tickets are still available for all the Panthers holiday games including Dec. 21 vs. Colorado, Dec. 23 vs. Nashville, Dec. 26 vs. Tampa Bay and Dec. 29 vs. Montreal. Fans can call 954-835-PUCK or log on to FloridaPanthers.com for more information.
