SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the BizTeamUp.com “Get Connected” Networking Series with SSE president & COO Michael Yormark had its inaugural event this afternoon at Bova Prime in Ft. Lauderdale. Yormark was joined by BankAtlantic president & CEO Jarett Levan, who spoke about the current state of the economy and the challenges facing local businesses to a group of nearly 100 business leaders.
“Get Connected” features a semi-monthly schedule of business lunches in which Mr. Yormark and a notable guest speaker will discuss relevant business topics among a group of 50 to 100 guests from the South Florida business community.
“I am extremely excited to help the South Florida business community stay ‘connected’ through the ‘Get Connected’ Networking Series,” said Yormark. “This is a wonderful opportunity for local business leaders to get to know each other better, while having an open forum about the challenges that face us on a daily basis, and the strategies we use to overcome those hurdles.”
In addition to Levan, potential speakers include Jordan Zimmerman of Zimmerman Advertising, Tom Andruskevich of Mayors, Scott Rothstein of RRA and the Bova Group, and more. Potential locations for the “Get Connected” Networking Series include Bova Ristorante in Boca Raton, Bova Prime in Ft. Lauderdale, Mayors in Aventura, Café Bella Sera in Parkland, Yolo in Ft. Lauderdale, Red Steakhouse in South Beach, and more.
