Sprukts & McArdle Reassigned to Rochester

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager Jacques Martin announced today that the club has reassigned C Janis Sprukts and LW Kenndal McArdle to Rochester (AHL).


McArdle, 21, made his NHL debut on Dec. 2 at Washington, logging 5:26 of ice time. Since he was recalled on Dec. 1, he played in three games with the Panthers, averaging 7:30 of ice time. Sprukts, who was recalled yesterday, played in Panthers 4-0 loss to the Boston last night, taking 17 shifts for 12:19 of ice time. For his career, Sprukts has played in 14 games with Florida, recording three points (1-2-3).

Florida (11-12-3) begins a five-game road trip on Monday, Dec. 8, with a game in Ottawa against the Senators. The game can be seen on FS Florida and heard on 790 The Ticket beginning at 7:30 p.m.
