Welcome to the Panthers "Play Of The Week". Here fans can vote for the top moment in the 2010-11 season on a week to week basis. At the end of the season, we'll have our Top Play vote based on the top plays throughout the season.


Each week, floridapanthers.com will select the top highlights; including goals, saves and hits for you to vote on. Plus it's just another chance to see the best plays in one spot from the week past.

Take a look at the nominees below and choose the one that you think should merit "Top Play Of The Week".

Trailing 2-1 in the second period, defenseman Bryan McCabe sneaks behind the defense and scores to tie it off a centering pass from David Booth 6:47 in. Bill Thomas started the play from inside his own zone with a pass up the boards.

With the score tied at two, Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby gets his stick on a shot from Alex Goligoski, only to be denied by Tomas Vokoun. Then with the puck laying in the crease and Chris Kunitz baring down, defenseman Mike Weaver knocks it away from safety with 5:48 left to play in the second.

The Bruins look to strike early but Tomas Vokoun comes up big stopping Dennis Seidenberg, Tyler Seguin and Mark Recchi all in succession to keep it at goose eggs 1:37 into the game.

Tampa Bay finds themselves on a power play midway through the first period but Tomas Vokoun stops dynamic forward Steven Stamkos on a cross-crease feed and then Brett Clark.

Tampa's Dana Tyrell finds himself behind the Panthers defense for a mini-breakaway but Tomas Vokoun turns away the shot 2:14 into the second period to keep the score at 1-0 in favor or the Lightning.

Halled down on a short-handed breakaway, Radek Dvorak makes the most of his opportunity, faking out Dan Ellis and scoring on a forehand shot to get the Panthers on the board 12:22 into the second period.

Shawn Matthias does his best to give the Panthers their first lead of the game as he scores while spinning around off a centering feed from Mike Santorelli 8:31 into the third period.

Heading into the fourth round of the shootout with none of the first six shooters able to find the back of the net, Stephen Weiss goes to his backhand to score the lone goal of the shootout, giving the Panthers a 4-3 victory.
