Welcome to the Panthers "Play Of The Week". Here fans can vote for the top moment in the 2010-11 season on a week to week basis. At the end of the season, we'll have our Top Play vote based on the top plays throughout the season.


Each week, floridapanthers.com will select the top highlights; including goals, saves and hits for you to vote on. Plus it's just another chance to see the best plays in one spot from the week past.

On a two-man advantage, the Panthers pass the puck around until it finds the stick of Dennis Wideman. Stationed just above the face-off circle, the blueliner lets one go on the one-timer to get the Cats on the board 6:45 into the first.

Tied at one with 7:54 left in the game, Tomas Vokoun stands tall turning a shot aside from Patrik Berglund who was crashing the crease at the time.

Down 2-1 midway through the third, Marty Reasoner takes the pass from Radek Dvorak and fires a heat seeking missle top shelf over Ryan Miller from between the face-off circles. The puck clanks off the cross-bar and in to knot the score and eventually send the game to overtime.

With the game tied at two and 5:06 left, the Sabres are pressing for the go ahead goal. Tomas Vokoun stops forward Nathan Gerbe on the initial shot and then four Panthers are there to make sure the puck stays out with Vokoun down.

Center Mike Santorelli gets the Panthers on the board with just 29 seconds remaining in the second period to tie the score at one against San Jose as he follows up on his own shot on the rush by banking the puck off Antti Niemi.

Trailing once again to San Jose, Chris Higgins gets the equalizer with 9:24 left in the third. After digging the puck out by the boards, Higgins skates towards the net and fires a low back hand shot that gets past Niemi.

The third time was the charm as Jason Garrison had three shots on Antti Niemi on one shift with the third one, a point shot blast finds the twine with 2:01 left to play in the third.
