Panthers Sign Drew Larman

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager Jacques Martin announced today that the club has agreed to terms with C Drew Larman on a one-year contract. As per club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Larman, 23, played in six games for Florida this past season posting one assist. He made his NHL debut on Nov. 13, 2006 vs. Washington. In 22 career games played for Florida, Larman has two goals and two assists. He scored his first NHL goal on Nov. 24, 2006 vs. Ottawa. Larman played in 54 games this past season for Rochester (AHL) scoring 28 points (17-11-28) with four GWG.

“We are pleased to have signed Drew for another season and look forward to his continued growth in our organization,” Martin said. “He has had the opportunity to play with our club and understands the commitment and work ethic needed to compete in the NHL.”
