Panthers Recall Stewart & Glass from Rochester

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager and Head Coach Jacques Martin announced today that C Anthony Stewart and LW Tanner Glass have been recalled from the Rochester Americans (AHL).

Stewart, 22, joins the Panthers for the seventh time this season. He has appeared in 24 games for Florida this season registering one assist. In 24 games with Rochester (AHL), Stewart has eight goals and 11 assists.

Glass, 24 has played in 23 games with the Panthers this season, earning his first NHL goal in the Cats 5-3 win over the Ottawa Senators on Jan. 22. He has averaged 4:05 in ice time, while picking up 27 penalty minutes. Glass has played in 25 games with Rochester this year scoring two goals with two assists and 47 penalty minutes.

The Panthers who sit just three points out of first place in the Southeast Division resume play after the All-Star break with a home contest against the Buffalo Sabres on Jan. 30 at 7:30 p.m.  Great tickets are still available by calling (954) 835-PUCK.
