Panthers Recall RW Rob Globke

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers General Manager Mike Keenan announced today that RW Rob Globke has been recalled from the Rochester Americans (AHL). He will join the Panthers tonight for their game in Washington versus the Capitals.

Globke, 23, joins the Cats for his second stint this season. He made his NHL debut with the Panthers on Dec. 28 versus the Boston Bruins. The Farmington, Michigan native has played in 15 games with the Cats this season, scoring one goal (Feb. 4 @ Atlanta) with six PIM, while averaging 7:16 off ice time.

The six-foot-two, 208-pound forward has registered 11 points (3-8-11) with 46 PIM in 43 games with Rochester. Globke was drafted by Florida with their third choice (40th overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
