Panthers Recall D Colby Robak

SUNRISE, Fla. ­ Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has recalled D Colby Robak.

Robak, 21, earns his first call-up of the season to the Panthers. In 48 games with San Antonio this season, Robak has posted 25 points (7-18-25), 22 PIM and is a plus-12. The 6-3, 210 lb blueliner who has yet to appear in an NHL regular season game, represented the Rampage at the 2012 AHL All-Star game in Atlantic City in his second year as a professional. The Dauphin, MB native was drafted by Florida in the second round (46th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

Florida closes out a two-game road trip with a 3 P.M. game on Long Island as they take on the New York Islanders. The game can be seen on FS Florida and heard on 560 WQAM or 760 ESPN (Palm Beaches).
