SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers Foundation announced today that Party City will run a national dollar drive donation to support the fight against pediatric cancer. The in-store promotion started on Sunday, Feb. 24 and will run until Saturday, March 16.
All Party City stores in the United States will participate in the program and proceeds of the dollars raised will be donated to cancer related charities.
“We are ecstatic that Party City is raising money and awareness for a cause that is so dear to us,” said Panthers Foundation Executive Director Andria Nolan. “Money raised will go directly to fight pediatric cancer and help the kids.”
Party City will hold a Kick Off Party for the Dollar drive at their store in Fort Lauderdale from 5-7pm on Wednesday, March 6, featuring raffles and giveaways as well as photo opportunities with the Panthers 2011-12 Southeast Division Championship banner. The Party City in Fort Lauderdale is located at the Northridge Shopping Center at 843 East Commercial Blvd, Oakland Park, FL 33334.
