Here are all seven goals from Tuesday’s matchup against the Buffalo Sabres.

Reilly Smith has been on fire lately. Smith went bar down early in the game to set the tone.

Brian Campbell added his fifth goal of the season just three minutes later, putting this one through traffic (and possibly off of a defender) and past Buffalo goaltender Robin Lehner.

As the first period came to a close, Jussi Jokinen found his way to the front of the net and tapped one past Lehner. Just like that, it was 3-0 Panthers.

The Cats didn’t wait long after the intermission to make it 4-0. Alex Petrovic notched his second career NHL goal and second point of the game. All part of a huge night – a Gordie Howe hat trick and a +4 rating – that ended with Petrovic wearing the #SpaceyInSpace hoodie.

Buffalo responded with two goals – both powerplay scores from Sam Reinhart – but the Cats answered emphatically. First, it was Brandon Pirri…

Then it was Jaromir Jagr’s turn. The one-timer was his 17th of the season and 739th of his storied career.

But again, Buffalo responded. Two Sabres goals cut the Cats lead in half. But that was as close as they’d get, as Reilly Smith hit the empty net from his own blueline.

Smith’s second of the game – and 18th of the season – put the game away for good.
