Panthers Agree To Terms With G Craig Anderson

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager Mike Keenan announced today that the club has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with G Craig Anderson.

Anderson, 25, was drafted by Chicago as their third round choice (73rd overall pick) in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. In 15 appearances for the Chicago Blackhawks last season, Anderson went 4-4 with a 2.78 GAA. The Park Ridge, Ill. native recorded his 2nd career shutout in a 3-0 win vs. Nashville on Mar.1, making 20 saves.

"Craig is a talented goaltender who we are pleased to have on our club," said Keenan. "He is hard working and will play an important role in our team's success next season."
