Thanksgiving is awesome. It’s always fun to get together with friends and family and have a nice meal. I usually go over to my girlfriend’s house. Her mom’s cooking and that’s great.
A few things happened over the past week and it gave us a little bit of a boost. When you’re not winning as many games as you should things are going to happen, whether it’s guys getting moved or, I guess you can say, the coach snapping a little bit.
That’s all part of it. We needed a little kick in the rear to pick it up a little. We had a good game against Carolina. Now it’s a matter of bringing that every night.
I’m feeling good, pretty close to 100 percent. The groin flares up every once in a while, but I feel pretty good. I can’t complain.
We have the Rangers home on Friday night and that’s always a fun game. It’s always a packed building and a fun game against them here. There’s some loud New York fans, but it doesn’t matter if there’s Ranger fans in the building. When you play Detroit, Toronto or New York there’s always going to be fans from the other teams.
There’s always more Florida fans.
As long as the building is packed, it’s lively and fun. It’s usually an awesome game.
Talk to you soon, and here’s wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving.
