Gameday Growl: Apr. 14 vs. New York Islanders

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m

Tonight all fans at the BB&T Center will receive a 2016 Playoff T-Shirt for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs!

The BB&T Center bag policy has stated that no backpacks, large bags or purses larger than 1’ x 1’ would be permitted upon entry for security purposes and the safety of fans. This season, staff members have been enforcing this policy at entrance points and are now equipped with measuring guides to ensure fan safety.

Check out live music performances start when doors open, at intermission and post-game! Fans can access the music at the Band Stand, located directly above Pantherland at the front of the BB&T Center at the Coors Light Cold Zone.

John Iatrellis of Lure Fishbar in Miami Beach

South Florida native, John Iatrellis, developed a love for food at a young age. Born to Greek parents, his family embraced cooking together regularly as a past time. With the old world techniques taught to him in his grandmother’s kitchen and under the tutelage of Chef/Restauranteur Josh Capon, Iatrellis has developed his culinary mastery in to a successful career as Executive Chef of the award-winning seafood hot spot Lure Fishbar located at the Loews Miami Beach hotel. Named one of “Miami's Best Executive Chefs” by Ocean Drive Magazine in 2015, Iatrellis continues to make waves in Miami’s unique culinary landscape.

Prior to joining the all-star team at Lure Fishbar, Iatrellis worked his way up the ranks at Shareef Malnik’s acclaimed Miami Beach eatery, The Forge, where he began as a Lead Line Cook and was promoted to Sous Chef and Executive Chef in the span of eight years.

As an active member of the community, Chef John enjoys participating in local charity events and being able to give back to those in need. His passion and charisma have allowed him to work alongside some of the nation’s most renowned chefs at high-profile events including the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival and Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation.
