Florida Panthers Recall D Dylan Olsen

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers Executive VP/General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has recalled D Dylan Olsen from San Antonio (AHL).

Olsen, 23, has played in 21 games this season for Florida recording 10 points (3-7-10) including a career best five-game point streak from Dec. 5-13. For his career in the National Hockey League, he has played in 49 games with Chicago (2011-2012) and Florida scoring three goals with eight assists. Olsen has appeared in four games for San Antonio (AHL) this year recording two points (1-1-2) and two PIM.

The Calgary, Alberta, native was acquired by Florida from Chicago along with F Jimmy Hayes on Nov. 14. Olsen was drafted by Chicago with their first choice (28th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
