BankAtlantic Center Ranks No. 9 In The Country

SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the BankAtlantic Center is ranked No. 9 in the United States and No. 20 in the world according to the third-quarter arena venue rankings by trade publication Pollstar.

 
The BankAtlantic Center enjoyed an incredible first three quarters of entertainment this year that included huge tours and shows such as Rihanna, Sade, Cirque Du Soleil, Monster Jam, Disney On Ice, two sold out Taylor Swift performances, a sold out Katy Perry concert, Kylie Minogue, Lil Wayne, Lady Gaga, Iron Maiden, Usher, Rush, Disney On Ice, Andrea Bocelli, Ozzy Osbourne, Linkin Park, Barry Manilow and more.
 
“Once again the BankAtlantic Center has lived up to its reputation as one of the premier sports and entertainment facilities in the world,” said VP of Event Programming Matt Bell. “‘The Center of it All’ continues to be the epicenter for South Florida entertainment and that’s only going to continue with an exciting remaining schedule of huge concerts and shows in 2011.”
 
The BankAtlantic Center is in the midst of a record-breaking year of entertainment with a number of huge upcoming shows on the calendar including Jay-Z and Kanye West, Josh Groban, Hot 105’s Love Train, Y100 Jingle Ball, and more.
