by Staff Writer / Florida Panthers
SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise Sports & Entertainment announced today that the Florida Panthers have teamed up with Tenet Health to bring the “Healthy Habits” assembly show to select elementary schools across Broward County as part of the Cats’ “Teammates & Classmates” school program initiative.

The “Healthy Habits” show educates students on the sport of hockey and the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle. The show also includes a surprise visit from Florida Panthers mascot Stanley C. Panther, as well as a raffle drawing for tons of great Florida Panthers prizes.
To enter, schools are encouraged to submit photos, videos, scrapbooks, or other creative elements of students showcasing their Panthers Pride, and a short one-page essay explaining why the school should be considered for the show tour. Full participation by all classrooms is a plus.
Deadline for submissions is Friday, April 15.  Winning schools will be announced by May 1.
All winning schools will also receive a free set of street hockey equipment to add to their Physical Education inventory. The show tour will begin in May and only eight schools will be selected to participate.
