A Look Ahead Nov. 17-22

The Panthers grabbed a big win to start off their four-game road trip as they downed the Anaheim Ducks 6-2 on Sunday night.. The Cats continue their trek through California before heading to the Music City to round out their road trip.

Storylines to Watch

- F Brad Boyes sits one game away from his 700th career game.

- D Willie Mitchell returns to Los Angeles for the first time since signing with Florida on July 1, 2014. The 37-year old blueliner won two Stanley Cups with LA (2012 & 2014).

TUESDAY'S MATCHUP

Nov. 18 at Los Angeles Kings (9-5-4)

All-Time Record against Los Angeles: 9-13-3-1

All-Time Record at Los Angeles: 4-10-0-0

The Panthers head out to Hollywood to take on the reigning Stanley Cup Champions in Tuesday night's matchup. The Cats were shut out twice last season against the Kings and have had trouble playing in the Staples Center, dropping their last five games in LA and winning their last game in LA on Nov. 27, 2002. The Cats will look to reverse their fortunes in the first of two meetings with the Kings this season.

After defeating San Jose 4-1 on Nov. 11 at BB&T Center, the Cats lock up again with the Sharks, this time in their barn. Florida is now 2-0-0 in their last two meetings with the Sharks dating back to Mar. 18, 2014 as Roberto Luongo made 52 saves on 54 shots, earning a win for Florida. The Cats own a 6-1-0 record in their last seven games against San Jose.
