All five of the prospects saw action on Tuesday in Buffalo with four coming away with the regulation victory and three points.
Goaltender Olivier Roy stopped 17 of 19 shots for Team Canada as they rolled to a 7-2 win over the Czech Republic. Curtis Hamilton had an even rating and one shot on goal in a winning cause.
Anton Lander scored the game-winning goal for Sweden in a 2-0 win over Russia. Lander had three shots on goal and was +1 in the game.
Neighbouring Finland also had a shutout victory, blanking Switzerland 4-0. Oilers prospect Toni Rajala had an assist and three shots on goal.
Slovakia lost 6-1 to the USA and Martin Marincin was tossed with less than 8 minutes to play in the third period for an elbow to the head of Jason Zucker. Marincin received a major, match penalty and game misconduct for his actions. Marincin had a +1 rating despite his team's shellacking.
The Oilers prospect received a three-game suspension on Thursday as a result of the penalty. That would put him out until at least the semifinals if his team makes it.
On tap for Wednesday among games involving Oilers prospects is Finland vs. Germany and Canada vs. Norway.
