 Tonight's game is now underway.

13:33: Shots on goal nearly seven minutes in were 4-2 for Edmonton.

12:12: Matt Hendricks and B.J. Crombeen dropped the gloves for an extended punching match. Neither combatant had the edge in that one, with the officials breaking it up before either player was knocked down.
9:53: After some extended pressure in the Oilers zone, Mikkel Boedker swooped in to pick up a rebound after a screened point shot from Connor Murphy and backhanded it past Scrivens to make it a 1-0 game. | ARI 1, EDM 0
7:14: Benoit Pouliot took a penalty for slashing, giving the Coyotes the game's first power play.

6:26: Arizona starting goaltender Devan Dubnyk made a nice save on Tyler Pitlick as the Oilers forward slipped in behind the Coyotes defence for a clear shot on net. He was held up on the play by Antoine Vermette. Vermette got a hooking penalty, putting an end to the Arizona power play.

1:44: With the teams playing four-on-four, Teddy Purcell's shot from the slot was kicked out by Dubnyk but Pouliot was right there for the rebound and he made no mistake, slipping it past the Coyotes netminder to tie the game. | EDM 1, ARI 1
Hendricks was held up from behind by Brandon Gormley on a breakaway, setting up a penalty shot. His deke attempt was denied by Dubnyk.

18:07: The Oilers take the lead after Jesse Joensuu one-times a nice backhand feed from Steve Pinnizzotto from the right hashmarks. | EDM 2, ARI 1
16:00: Keith Aulie and Matt Smaby engage in a brief bout at the period's four-minute mark after Smaby hit David Perron at the blueline. Perron was shaken up on the play. 16:00: Aulie got the extra two minutes, giving Arizona a power play.

13:14: Joe Vitale gets sent off for tripping, giving the Oilers a power play of their own. David Perron also returns to action.

10:20: The penalty parade for both teams continues as Klefbom heads to the box for Edmonton. 

9:26: That man advantage was shortlived. 56 seconds later, Lauri Korpikoski headed off.

8:11: Oilers give up a shorthanded marker as Rob Klinkhammer wires a shot glove side past Scrivens to tie it up. | EDM 2, ARI 2
6:04: Lucas Lessio's penalty puts Edmonton back on yet another power play.

5:25: Nurse's point shot rings off the post behind Dubnyk after being redirected on its way to the net.

0.0: Shots are 27-16 for the Oilers after 40 minutes.


Third period is now underway. Oilers announce Perron will not return to the game. 17:23: Oilers move back in front. Once again, it's Pinnizotto feeding Joensuu in the slot. Joensuu wires the puck in past Dubnyk. | EDM 3, ARI 2
10:00: As the final period reaches the midway point, shots are 31-21 for the Oilers.

8:00: Jesse Joensuu's hooking penalty gives Arizona a chance to tie the game with eight minutes to play.

5:08: Oilers get called for Too Many Men on the ice.

0.0: Final shot count is 33-26 for the Oilers in the victory.
