Trip down memory lane with Rod Phillips, Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier

Mark Messier and Wayne Gretzky hoist the Stanley Cup. The pair won four Cups together with the Oilers.

The Pittsburgh Penguins face off against the Detroit Red Wings tomorrow to kick off the 2009 Stanley Cup Finals. It's the first time since the 1983 and 1984 Cup Finals that the same two teams have met each other for the League's top prize in consecutive seasons.

Dan Tencer recently had a chance to catch up with Rod Phillips and take a trip down memory lane talking about those great Oilers teams in the 80's - and in particular that 1984 series during which the Oilers won their first Stanley Cup.
