Oilers recall trio

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled defencemen Taylor Chorney and Theo Peckham and goaltender Devan Dubnyk from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League. Goaltender Bryan Pitton has been reassigned to Springfield.

Chorney, 22, has 13 points (4G, 9A) in 32 games with the Falcons. He has also played in 21 games with the Oilers posting one assist.

Peckham, 22, has played 37 games with the Falcons collecting six assists and 106 PIM. The Richmond Hill, ON native has appeared in four NHL games with the Oilers this season gathering four PIM.

Dubnyk, 23, has played in 33 games with Springfield with a 13-17-2 record and 3.02 GAA. In nine games with the Oilers, the Calgary, AB native is 0-6-1 with a 4.17 GAA.
