The Edmonton Oilers have recalled centre Rob Schremp from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League.
The 511", 200-pound native of Syracuse, New York will join the Oilers in Minneapolis/St. Paul for their game against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday, April 5th.View Schremp's career statistics
The Oilers second choice in the first round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, has enjoyed a productive rookie season with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. In his first professional season, Schremp has scored 16-34-50 with 36 penalty minutes in 67 games. He is +2 and has netted eight powerplay goals.
Schremp ranks fourth on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton scoring list with his 50 points and is second in assists, third in powerplay goals and fourth in goals.
