Oilers recall Pitton; Assign Dubnyk

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled goaltender Bryan Pitton from Springfield of the American Hockey League.

Pitton, 22, has appeared in 22 games for the Stockton Thunder of the East Coast Hockey League going 9-9-3 with a 2.85 GAA and a .921 SV%.

The Mississauga, Ontario native was recently recalled to Springfield and will now join the Oilers in Minnesota to backup starter Jeff Deslauriers.

Dubnyk has seen action in nine games with the Oilers this season. He has a 0-6-1 record, 4.17 GAA and .860 SV%. In 23 games with the Falcons the 23-year-old netminder is 10-12-1 with a 2.99 GAA and .916 SV%.
