The Edmonton Oilers Hockey Clinic presented by Cenovus Energy will be heading north to Athabasca this year on May 14-15, 2011. Held at the Athabasca Regional Mulitplex, this clinic is free of charge to all participants and gives players aged nine to 12 the opportunity to experience high-calibre training while further developing their skills.
“Helping to grow grassroots hockey across Oil Country continues to be a priority for us and we’re thrilled Cenovus Energy continues to sponsor our fun, educational and interactive hockey clinics for young hockey players in a growing community like Athabasca,” said Patrick LaForge, Oilers President and COO.
The Edmonton Oilers Hockey Clinic will feature four on-ice sessions, off-ice training techniques and team building exercises. Oilers Grassroots Staff, Hockey Alberta and Hockey Canada will be on site to ensure the students have a great learning experience while having fun.
