The Edmonton Oilers have assigned goaltender Mike Morrison to the Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL on a conditioning assignment.

Recalled from Greenville on October 24th, Morrison appeared in 10 games with the Oilers this season and has compiled a 5-1-0 record with a 2.35 goals-against average and a .904 save percentage.

The 63", 194 pound native of Medford, Massachusetts made his NHL debut with the Oilers at Dallas on November 7th and registered his first NHL victory with a 31-save effort in a 5-2 win at Colorado on November 14th.

Prior to his recall to Edmonton in October, Morrison appeared in two games with Greenville and was 1-1-0 with a 3.01 goals-against average and .895 save percentage.
