FIRST PERIOD

20:00: Tonight's game is now underway.

19:09: Anders Nilsson starts off the game with a great save, pulling the puck out of the air with his glove after Tyler Seguin broke into the zone. 17:01: Back at the other end of the ice, Antti Niemi robbed Mark Letestu, sliding across to deny the Oilers forward on a quick shot from the side boards.

16:33: Nilsson again made a great stop, denying Jamie Benn on a breakaway as the back-and-forth action continues.

13:10: Darnell Nurse received two minutes for hooking, sending Dallas on the power play.

10:18: Travis Moen was sent off for two minutes, giving Edmonton a chance with the man advantage.

7:41: The Oilers go on another power play. Matt Hendricks got clipped with a high stick by Mattias Janmark.

6:36: Letestu's blast from the left side boards rang off the post behind Niemi.

5:11: Taylor Hall scored an incredible goal, busting through two Stars defenders then corralling the puck and wiring it high on Niemi to give Edmonton the lead. | EDM 1, DAL 0



4:10: Shots on goal are 11-6 for Dallas.

0.0: Shots are 14-8 after one for the Stars.

SECOND PERIOD

20:00: Second period is now underway.

17:33: Colton Sceviour's quick shot from the left circle rings the post behind Nilsson.

12:52: Dallas has a 20-10 lead in shots (6-2 in the period) just past the seven-minute mark of the period.

8:47: With the Oilers buzzing around the Dallas net, Patrik Nemeth received two minutes for holding. Edmonton returned to the power play.

4:42: Oilers fail to score, but capture a lot of momentum with some great chances. Edmonton went on a 7-1 run with the lead in shots and now only trail 21-17 on the shot clock.

3:48: Hendricks took two minutes for hooking, giving the Stars a chance to pull even.

1:41: Stars fire three shots on the PP but can't score.

1:37: Right off the faceoff, Janmark scores on the third rebound to finally get the Stars tied. | EDM 1, DAL 1



0.0: Shots after two were 27-17 for Dallas.

THIRD PERIOD

20:00: Period three starts now.

14:23: Janmark is denied on a breakaway by Nilsson. Shots in the third just over five minutes in are 6-1 for Dallas.

11:04: The Stars head to the power play after Darnell Nurse gets two minutes for interference.

9:24: Ales Hemsky rushes into the Oilers zone and wires a shot on goal but Nilsson is equal to the task. 8:12: Oilers kill off that penalty but then get another one when Mark Fayne gets sent off for holding.

7:28: Nilsson made an unbelievable save, sliding across to deny a Stars skater. 2:52: Shots are now 42-21 for the Stars.

0.0: Oilers had one last chance in front of the Stars net in the dying seconds but could not convert. Result was the game heading to overtime for a second straight night. Shots after 60 were 42-22.

5:00: Overtime is now underway.

4:15: The Oilers end the game on a point-blank wrist shot from the high slot by Jordan Eberle that found its way into the back of the net. | EDM 2, DAL 1
