After an offensive charge from Vancouver, shots are now 7-6 Oilers.
Zack Kassian takes two for slashing against his former team, putting the Canucks on the power play for the first time on the night.

Hendricks crashed the net and picked up a Jordan Oesterle rebound, pounding the puck past Markstrom to double the Oilers lead.

Adam Clendening collided with Markstrom and received two minutes for goaltender interference, putting the Canucks back on the power play.
Oilers kill off the penalty. Shots now 32-25 Canucks.
There's a lot of pushing and shoving behind the Oilers net as tempers flare with time winding down. Canucks pull their goaltender for the extra attacker looking for the equalizer.
Hall was hauled down trying for the empty net by Sven Baerstchi. That gave the Oilers a brief power play in which they ran out the clock.
