BLOG: Oilers hold fourth-overall pick

The Edmonton Oilers now hold the fourth-overall pick in the 2016 NHL Draft, following Saturday night’s NHL Draft Lottery.

Of the 14 teams to miss the playoffs, the Oilers came into the night owning the second best odds at winning the first-overall pick. They had a 13.5% chance.

The Toronto Maple Leafs had the best odds at 20.0% and they secured the first-overall pick. The top 14 is as follows:

6. Flames
7. Coyotes
8. Sabres
9. Canadiens
10. Avalanche
11. Devils
