Janessa Halls

Coordinator, Donor Stewardship  

Janessa Halls began her career in event activation and fan engagement with OEG Sports & Entertainment, progressing through roles such as Activation Team Lead and Live Social Contributor for the National Hockey League, before moving into program coordination and donor stewardship. This path reflects her commitment to community impact, effective communication, and strategic collaboration with cross-functional teams within sports and entertainment. She holds a Business Management Diploma from Grant MacEwan University and a Business Management Degree from Athabasca University.

What inspires you to make a difference in Oil Country?
“I’m inspired by the opportunity to create memorable moments while helping make our community a better place for everyone. The individuals and beneficiaries we work with motivate me every day, and seeing the impact firsthand is incredibly meaningful. Knowing that our work helps lower barriers for kids across Oil Country makes every bit of hard work truly worth it.”
