Jadie Janowska

Manager, Community Investment

Jadie Janowska is the Manager of Community Investment for the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation and brings more than 15 years of experience building strong, collaborative relationships across community, hospitality and large-scale event environments. She previously held leadership roles within Fan Experience and Security at OEG Sports & Entertainment, where she led large-scale staffing operations and worked closely with internal teams and external partners to implement improvements that strengthened engagement, safety, and efficiency. Jadie has also led teams in tourism, working closely with government and industry partners to deliver meaningful service experiences. She is passionate about fostering trusted community partnerships that create lasting impacts for communities across Oil Country.

Is there a moment from your work with the EOCF that really stands out?
“One moment that really stands out for me was hosting a group of newcomer families at the arena, many of whom had only been in Canada for a few days. The kids didn’t speak English, or even the same language, but we set up a ball hockey game. A sport that most had never played before. Within minutes they were laughing and playing together, it was a powerful reminder of how sport can break down barriers and create a sense of belonging.”
