Andrea Dion

Manager, Corporate Communications 

Andrea Dion is the Manager of Corporate Communications for the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation, bringing more than 15 years of experience in broadcast journalism and communications. She previously led the Marketing and Communications team at an Alberta-based tech company, where she developed and implemented organization-wide strategies to drive growth, build brand awareness, and share the company’s story through both internal and external communications. Prior to that, she was a News Anchor in major markets with CTV and Global News. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Communication degree with a major in Journalism from Mount Royal University in Calgary, AB. She comes from a family of lifelong Oilers fans and is passionate about connecting the team with the community, and the community with the Foundation.

What’s your most memorable Oilers moment?
“The first time I attended a game was with my aunt, a diehard fan, at Rexall Place. I was maybe 10 years old. I remember sitting in the nosebleeds, eating corndogs, and watching the Oilers clinch a win. From that moment—even after living in Calgary—my fandom for the team was solidified.”
