Zolnierczyk scores twice as Sound Tigers beat IceCaps 6-3

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - Harry Zolnierczyk scored twice and added an assist as the Bridgeport Sound Tigers beat the St. John's IceCaps 6-3 in American Hockey League action Sunday.

Alan Quine and Kevin Czuczman added a goal and an assist for the Sound Tigers (1-1-0), while Scooter Vaughan and Sebastian Collberg also scored. C.J. Stretch added two assists.

Eric O'Dell had two goals and an assist for St. John's (1-1-1), which beat Bridgeport 3-2 Saturday night. Will O'Neill also scored while JC Lipon had a pair of assists.

David Leggio made 21 saves for Bridgeport, while Jussi Olkinuora stopped 28 shots for the IceCaps.

Bridgeport went 2-for-5 on the power play, while St. John's was 1-for-5.
