Zetterberg scores twice to lead Red Wings past Blackhawks 4-2 @NHLdotcom

DETROIT (AP) - Henrik Zetterberg scored two third-period goals to lead the Detroit Red Wings to a 4-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night.

Zetterberg broke a 2-2 tie with 6:22 left in the third, then added the other into an empty net as Detroit earned its 13th consecutive home win, moving to within one of the franchise record set in 1964-65.

Pavel Datsyuk and Kris Draper also scored for the Red Wings while Dominik Hasek made 26 saves.

Radim Vrbata, and Bryan Smolinski scored for Chicago and Nikolai Khabibulin stopped 31 shots.
