On Wednesday, Devils goalie Martin Brodeur made another bid for save of the year. After his first unbelievable save against the Leafs' Phil Kessel on Nov. 2, Brodeur upped the ante by robbing Sabres captain Jason Pominville on a point blank shot.

In Thursday's Panthers-Blues game, St. Louis center Patrik Berglund delivered what arguably is the most crushing hit of the year. While turning around near the boards to make a play on the puck, Berglund ran over an oncoming Dmitry Kulikov, knocking the Panther completely off his feet.

On Tuesday, Avalanche forward Matt Duchene mesmerized the Penguins and their home crowd. Duchene caught a pass behind his back, then went through his legs and buried a backhand shot that no one, including Pens goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, had a chance of stopping.
