Wise and Partanen combine for eight points as Majors blank Frontenacs 9-0 @NHLdotcom

KINGSTON, Ont. - Jamie Wise and Mika Partanen each had three goals and an assist as the Mississauga St Michael's Majors crushed the host Kingston Frontenacs 9-0 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Brett Foy scored twice for the Majors (30-27-7), who clinched a playoff position with the win, Spenser Cobbold had a goal and an assist while Dylan DeMelo and Riley Brace chipped in with three assists each.

Nathan Cull was a team worst minus-4 for the Frontenacs (19-39-7), who have dropped six straight games and sit last in the Eastern Conference.

Brandon Maxwell turned away all 28 shots he faced for his second consecutive shutout as Jacob Riley allowed all nine goals on 44 shots against.

Mississauga went 2 for 4 on the power play while Kingston failed to score on its only opportunity with the man advantage.
