Wintoneak scores two as Saskatoon rebounds from rough loss to beat Broncos @NHL

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - The Saskatoon Blades rebounded from a lopsided 7-1 loss the previous night in Medicine Hat to defeat the Swift Current Broncos 4-3 on Saturday night in the Western Hockey League.

Walker Wintoneak led the Blades with a pair of goals as Saskatoon evened up the season at four games apiece.

Adam Chorneyko and Milan Kytnar also found the net for the Blades (42-14-3-1), who scored three goals in the first period including goals 13 seconds apart from Wintoneak and Chorneyko to jump out to a 2-0 lead after only 1:07.

Geordie Wudrick, with a powerplay goal, defenseman Derek Claffey, with his second of the season, and rookie Jordan Peddle replied for Swift Current (33-25-1-1).

Braden Holtby made 32 saves for Saskatoon, while Broncos goaltender Travis Yonkman stopped 34 shots.
