Wilkes-Barre/Scranton scores 5 goals in third period to beat St. John's 5-2 @NHLdotcom

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins erupted for five goals in the third period to beat the St. John's IceCaps 5-2 in American Hockey League action Saturday.

Zach Sill, Jayson Megna, Bobby Farnham, Andrew Ebbett and Tom Kostopoulos each scored for the Penguins (12-4-2).

Eric O'Dell scored both goals for the IceCaps (8-8-3).

Eric Hartzell stopped 29 shots in net for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, while IceCaps goalie Eddie Pasquale finished with 14 saves.
