WHL Roundup: A look at Tuesday's games @NHLdotcom

Adam Rossignol scored a late game winner to lift the Swift Current Broncos to a 4-3 win over the Kootenay Ice in Western Hockey League action Tuesday.

Rossignol, who had just one goal in his first 27 games since being acquired from Kootenay, scored his second goal in a Broncos uniform with 4:50 left in the third period.

Christian Magnus led Swift Current (25-35-8) with two goals and one assist.

Magnus, who now has nine goals on the season thanks to a pair of goals 4:45 apart in the second period, was reacquired by the Broncos from Kootenay at the trade deadline last season.

Ryon Moser had Swift Current's other goal after opening the scoring in the first period.

Elsewhere in the WHL it was: Lethbridge 2 Moose Jaw 1; Calgary 3 Red Deer 2; and Seattle 3 Prince George 1.

At Swift Current, Sask., Kootenay (35-23-8), which had tied the game in the third period on Joe Antilla's 13th of the year, also had goals from Elgin Pearce and Max Reinhart with his team-leading 28th of the year.

Broncos netminder Jon Groenheyde turned aside 32 shots. Ice goalie Nathan Lieuwen gave up four goals on 30 shots.

At Lethbridge, Alta., Philip Tot scored in the third period and Damien Ketlo stopped 27 shots to lift the Hurricanes (27-39-1) over the Moose Jaw (41-18-7).


Hitmen 3 Rebels 2

At Red Deer, Alta., Chase Clayton scored late in the third period as Calgary (40-24-3) edged the Rebels (30-30-6).


Thunderbirds 3 Cougars 1

At Prince George, B.C., Luke Lockhart scored the winning goal as Seattle (22-41-2) beat the Cougars (20-44-2).
