Nashville captain Shea Weber
has been cleared to return to action, the Predators announced Thursday.
Weber has missed the past four games with a concussion. He last played Dec. 23 against Dallas.
A Norris Trophy finalist last season, Weber is among the early favorites for the award again this campaign. He has eight goals and 29 points in 35 games for the Predators, who currently sit in seventh place in the Western Conference.
Weber is tied for second in the League in goals among defensemen, third in points and fifth in average time on ice per contest at 26:20.
