Weal and Marantz two points each as the Pats beat the Hitmen 3-2 @NHL

CALGARY - Jordan Weal and Matt Marantz had a goal and an assist each to lead the Regina Pats to a 3-2 win over the Calgary Hitmen in Western Hockey League action on Friday.

Lane Scheidl also scored for the Pats (18-14-3), who have gone 2-0-1 in their past three games.

Trevor Cheek and Victor Rask scored for the Hitmen (17-14-3), who have lost two in a row.

Regina goalie Matt Hewitt stopped 32 of 34 shots he faced for the win while Calgary netminder Brandon Glover made 13 saves in defeat.

Both teams went 1-for-6 on the power play.
