WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. AP - Wayne Gretzky will hold a sale of personal items to benefit two local schools.

The Phoenix Coyotes coach and his wife, Janet, will sell home furnishings, off-road vehicles and limited-edition autographed jerseys on Oct. 27 at Oaks Christian school to raise money for construction of the school's new baseball stadium.

The new stadium will include 300 elevated bleacher seats, a new player clubhouse, press box, concession stand and storage room.

The sale also will benefit programs at nearby Carden Conejo School.

The couple will also offer signed bottles of Gretzky's newly released Wayne Gretzky Estate Wines.

Gretzky holds the record for most career goals with 894.
