Walker and Ferland each have four points to lead Brandon over Calgary 5-2 @NHLdotcom

BRANDON, Man. - Brendan Walker had two goals and two assists as the Brandon Wheat Kings beat the Calgary Hitmen 5-2 Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Michael Ferland had a goal and three assists while Mark Stone rounded out the Wheat Kings (11-5-1) scoring with a goal and two assists.

Joe Kornelsen and Trevor Cheek scored for the Hitmen (6-8-1).

Brandon Anderson made 25 saves for the victory while Chris Driedger turned aside 22 shots in defeat.

The Wheat Kings went 2-for-6 on the power play as Calgary couldn't score on any of their three opportunities with the man advantage.
