Viedensky scores twice as Saskatoon downs Medicine Hat 5-3; win fourth in a row @NHLdotcom

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - The Saskatoon Blades won their fourth in a row as they downed the Medicine Hat Tigers 5-3 in Western Hockey League play Friday night.

Marek Viedensky scored twice for the Blades (38-12-6), while Darian Dziurzynski, Gaelan Patterson and Derek Hulak had singles. Steven Stanford made 23 stops.

Bretton Cameron, Wacey Hamilton and Matthew Konan netted singles for the Tigers (33-19-8). Tyler Bunz turned away 26 shots in goal for Medicine Hat.

The win allowed the Blades to remain first in the WHL's Eastern Conference standings. The Tigers remain fifth in the Eastern Conference.
