Versus announces NHL schedule change: Minnesota Wild / Washington Capitals game to air Tue., Feb. 26, at 7 P.M. ET @NHLdotcom

Game replaces New Jersey Devils / Carolina Hurricanes match-up
Stamford, CONN. -- VERSUS, the exclusive cable television home of the National Hockey League (NHL), today announced the following change to its schedule: the Minnesota Wild will face off against the Washington Capitals from the Verizon Center in Washington on Tuesday, February 26, at 7 p.m. ET.  This game replaces the New Jersey Devils/Carolina Hurricanes game, which was originally scheduled to air during the 7 p.m. time slot on February 26.
Following the All-Star break, flexible scheduling provides VERSUS the opportunity to replace a select number of games from the ones originally scheduled by the network.
“We decided to take advantage of our flexible scheduling to showcase two teams who are both among the leaders in their respective conference as well as highlight one of the most exciting players in the NHL in Alexander Ovechkin, who also leads the league in points and goals,” said Marc Fein, Executive Vice President of Programming, Production and Business Operations for VERSUS.  “We always want to present the best possible product to our viewers and the night of February 26 presented us with the perfect opportunity to do just that.
