Urbom scores last-minute winner as Brandon edges Hurricanes 5-4

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. - Alexander Urbom scored his second goal of the game with 13 seconds left as the Brandon Wheat Kings edged the Lethbridge Hurricanes 5-4 on Saturday night in the Western Hockey League.

Cam Braes tied the game for Lethbridge in the final minute, 19 seconds before Urbom's winner.

Brayden Schenn, Paul Van de Velde and Aaron Lewadniuk added goals for the Wheat Kings (10-7-2). Jordan Hale, Matt Calvert and Colby Robak all had two assists.

Mitch Maxwell scored a hat trick for the Hurricanes (5-11-2), while Carter Ashton had three assists.

Andrew Hayes made 17 saves for Brandon. Lethbridge netminder Brandon Anderson stopped 34 shots.
